The paint hadn’t dried sufficiently for me to continue with Into The Light 01, so I’ve embarked on my next project. And this one shows what drastic changes can occur in the middle of an art project. This was supposed to end up as a tranquil seascape, the kind with a boat moored out in the water. But, a storm blew up and the water got nasty and all the boats headed for the safe haven of the harbor.
So, now this is a seascape with crashing waves.
This is a 9×12 oil painting, which will have a very nice frame to go along with it. This is after about an hour’s work. I need to work the shoreline a little more and place some darker clouds in the sky, especially near the setting sun.
