Here is the next painting done in the acrylics class I’m taking. Normally I’m not much of a fan of still life, but this one shows promise. And I am starting to get the hang of using acrylics. I am going to do some more work on this one. I need to reshape the bottle and straighten it up. I am going to completely redo the glass. The fruit in the painting is actually pretty good, but there are things that I will tweak in it. The lemon needs some work on the top edge, the apple needs to be worked on and the orange is a really close. The grapes are the one part of the painting I am actually happy with. Anyway, I’ll see what I can do over the next day or so and post the results.
This is an acrylic on 12×16 cradled gesso board (Blick).
