Decided to go back to doing one of our fine, feathered friends. The blue jay the other day wasn’t enough I guess. Of course, that one was in acrylic. This one is an oil painting.
This guy looks magnificent as he stands guard in his tree, surveying all he rules. These birds are tough. That’s why the cardinals and blue jays don’t fly south for the winter. What’s a little snow to them? They just hope that some kind soul will put out some seed and nuts for them.
