The Journey Begins

Here is something a little different. I was entering some of my codes from my Diet Coke caps and they gave me a free coupon to Shutterfly for a photo book. It is twenty pages and has hard covers and I immediately thought of doing an art book with some of the better paintings that I’ve done in the past.

As I was putting it together it became a real project with, not just artwork, but also some musings that I’ve been writing for awhile. It ended up taking me about five or six hours to put it all together on their website, doing the editing, some rewriting and polishing and some final proofreading. When I was finally happy with it, I clicked on the order button and for the cost of shipping (about $8) it is now being made and shipped to me. I should have it in a week or two.

Take a look and see what you think. Here is just a quick tip. Click on Full Screen in the top right part of the window and click on the Single Page link. It will make it much easier to read. Also, and this is most important, if you decide you want to order this book, then just click on the link below the book window and it will take you to the Shutterfly website. Just understand that I’m not really planning on selling these so I am not setting any price on them. So the price you pay will simply be the price that Shutterfly charges to print the book. Nothing comes to me except for your emails and comments about how you just love the book. 🙂
