Honey Bunny and I were in the garden this morning, taking a look at some of the plants when she let out a little cry of despair. It seems that in the wind the other day, one of our tomato plants had suffered a broken branch with three young and growing tomatoes on it. Knowing that this branch would end up dying, taking the tomatoes with it, I took them in, knowing that they would make a great subject for a painting.

This is version 2.0. I didn’t like the initial painting. It just wasn’t coming together for me, so I wiped it and started over. This is the second effort and I’m quite a bit more pleased with it.
