I had a black panel sitting in a stack and I’ve always loved the way the colors seem to jump off the canvas when I start painting on them.  When I am painting one of my dark paintings, the background colors go on so much cleaner and with more vibrancy.  I think I even got the jug right on this one.  I always seem to have trouble with bottles and vases.  I can never get the two sides to look equal in curve and slope.  This time it worked out.
