Bargue Drawing practice – 10/07/16

I’ve been doing quite a bit of drawing lately and have decided I really need to think about getting some more videos done. So, here is today’s effort. This is done from one of the Bargue plates that can be found all over the internet. I like the simplicity of these plates, in that they are just light and shadow, mostly just black and white. I know that some atelier students will work for upwards of forty hours to complete one Bargue drawing, but I just don’t have that kind of time and patience. So these are more for a quick drawing practice. This drawing took approximately one hour and was the second drawing of the day. Look for more in the future.
